You\u2019ll experience performances completely differently when you\u2019re brimming with information. Pre-concert talks are held before most of the \u201cbig\u201d performances; the program and information on the ticket indicate when these will take place. They\u2019re always held in the Castle Riding Hall 60 minutes before the beginning of the concert and last 30 minutes. Entrance is free for the concert\u2019s ticket holders. The festival\u2019s artistic director, Vojt\u011bch St\u0159\u00edtesk\u00fd, will introduce guest speakers \u2013 musical experts and publicists as well as artists, conductors, directors, and soloists. Visitors obtain information about the pieces to be presented, their composers, how they\u2019ve been interpreted, circumstances around mounting the production, directorial goals, and sometimes even tidbits about backstage preparations. Personally meeting creators and performers can be a potent experience in and of itself.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2024 the ouvertures are held in St. Anne’s Church nearby the Festival hall for the obvious reasons.
