Librettist and dramaturge Helena Koblischkov\u00e1 and composer Jan Jir\u00e1sek draw on Baroque motifs while translating them into a contemporary stage language in which music and stage action engage in a constant dialogue. Director Petr Ha\u0161ek, long-time artistic director of Geisslers Hofcomoedianten, and conductor Marek \u0160tryncl, founder of Musica Florea, build on their extensive experience in historically informed performance and Baroque gesture. Their collaboration gives rise to playful \u201cNew Baroque\u201d in which light, music, and acting create a cohesive stage form.   <\/p>\n\n<h4
