Sonic Meditation is a concert concept by organist and composer Katta, that unites the sound of the “king of instruments” with contemplative reflection and the ambient aesthetic of the Piarist Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross in Litomyšl. Katta’s original music, in collaboration with the vocal ensemble Societas Incognitorum and musician Stanislav Abrahám, who plays gongs and meditative instruments, offers listeners an unusual, almost magical late-night concert experience.
