This oratorio, based on apocryphal texts, explores the timeless themes of justice, honor, and false accusation – a story which still resonates today. Collegium 1704 brings this fascinating music to the second castle courtyard, where the orchestra already charmed audiences years ago with an extraordinary performance of Messiah. The evening promises tension, emotion, and Baroque virtuosity, drawing listeners into the very heart of the story.
