This top chamber ensemble was formed only recently, yet it immediately ocupied a prominent position not only on the Czech concert scene. The trio has prepared a program for Smetana’s Litomyšl composed exclusively of works by Czech artists of three centuries.
“The Trio in G minor concluded and artistically culminated one stage of Smetana’s life and work. Not only did it become a unique work in his development, but it is actually the first modern chamber piece of Czech music in the mid-19th century.”
