One large piece of paper – that’s all it takes for a world full of imagination, games, and adventures to open up for children on stage. The mischievous storyteller initially just plays with the paper, but soon he becomes absorbed by this pure, moldable material. His guide is a shy boy named Pejprbój. Together, they discover the secrets of the paper world and soon realize that it also holds tension and danger.
This non-verbal fairy tale with a minimalist set relies heavily on the audience’s imagination. The hands of the experienced puppeteer and mime artist Radim Vizváry can conjure fantastic fairy-tale scenes from paper. Moreover, his open and expressive acting invites the young audience to participate in the story.
