In this already proven combination of two prominent chamber ensembles from the UK English and Czechia we will be treated to three string octets from the early compositional era of Mozart, Brahms and Shostakovich, but also a selection from The Art of the Fugue, which symbolically concludes the Bach XXII festival project for this year.

“Music with the intimacy of a string quartet and the sound colours of a chamber orchestra – that is the Octet in E flat major by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.”

Dita Hradecká
