Jazz hearts under the direction of composer Jan Hála.

The KJJ Big Band was formed from the original Veleband, which was led by Karel Velebný during his time at the school. Many jazzmen started in its ranks, some of whom are currently professors at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and members of the best jazz ensembles of the Czech jazz scene.
