Italian Film Night will close the festival with the traditional finale, in which the famous melodies of Nino Rota, Alessandro Cicognini and Ennio Morricone will be transformed into a full-fledged symphonic concert. Orchestral suites for The Godfather, The Small World of Don Camillo, Once Upon a Time in the West and Sweet Life, among others, will be performed as an encounter with the music that shaped the sound of post-war European cinema. The Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tomáš Brauner lets the power of these scores stand out, which can stand up even without a film screen as perfectly independent symphonic music.
The charity final evening will again be associated with the Committee of Good Will – Olga Havel Foundation. You can voluntarily add a donation to your ticket purchase to support seniors by following the link below. Thank you for considering your contribution.
The evening will be hosted by Martina Viktorie Voborníková Kopecká.
