What would you do if someone accused you but would not say of what? Josef K. from Kafka’s The Trial searches for an answer in a system that seems to have been set up precisely so that he never finds it. The contemporary American composer Philip Glass tells the world-famous story in a chamber opera for eight singers and twelve instrumentalists. Jiří Nekvasil’s production will be presented by the Opera of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in the Piarist Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross.
Performed in the original English, with Czech and English surtitles.
