The Kroměříž music archives preserve many treasures, including works by Baroque composers Pavel Josef Vejvanovský, Giovanni Felice Sanci, and Philipp Jakob Rittler.
Silentium! ensemble, a new early music group led by choral conductor Tereza Válková, focuses on historically informed performance and period instruments. Together with conductor Tomáš Netopil and vocal soloists Romana Kružíková, Lenka Cafourková, Monika Jägerová, Jakub Kubín, and Jiří Miroslav Procházka, they have prepared a program presenting the treasures from the Kroměříž archives in modern premieres.
