The première of a concert show in which we will travel back in time to the hundredyear history of the Liberated Theatre with Adam Plachetka, Ondřej Havelka and a first-class orchestra specialising in jazz, swing and dance music of the interwar period.
We will listen to twenty timeless songs by Jaroslav Ježek, which have lost none of their esprit, wit and wisdom. Both protagonists will also accompany the evening with spoken word and certainly their dialogues will be as sparkling as the lyrics by Voskovec and Werich
“Adam Plachetka has recently been keen to cross the boundaries of the classical music world and venture into musical areas he has not yet explored. It is fair to say that he makes these excursions into non-operatic genres as a supreme professional, perfectly instructed, with full commitment and creative invention.”
